




Before visiting Kotohira Shrine, we decided to have an early lunch at "Iwanoya," famous for its delicious chicken tempura. We got our udon and chicken tempura super smoothly, added the broth ourselves, and started eating within minutes of entering. This chicken tempura is definitely the tastiest I've ever had (though I haven't tried that many). And it pairs perfectly with Sanuki udon. I polished it off in no time, but the chicken tempura portion was also quite substantial, leaving me quite full. It was truly delicious chicken tempura buckwheat noodles, exceeding my already high expectations before eating.
