Ichikawa Bridge stands over the Edo River at the border between Tokyo's Edogawa Ward and Chiba's Ichikawa City. The view was exceptionally beautiful on that clear, sunny day. The impression that the right side belongs to Chiba Prefecture adds a unique charm to the hybrid landscape of Tokyo and Chiba—a feeling you probably wouldn't get just from looking at it. It was early December, but thanks to the sunshine, I didn't feel the cold and left feeling refreshed.
