Kichijoji has a decent number of delicious Vietnamese and Thai restaurants, and quite a few popular spots require reservations. This time, I suddenly craved Vietnamese food for dinner, so while searching for a place that didn't require reservations, I went to Vietnamese Chan, located about ten minutes away from Kichijoji Station. Since it was still early, we were the only customers there, haha. I was a bit worried, but that quickly turned to anticipation when they brought out a sophisticated lemon soda with just the right sweetness. The fried spring rolls, green papaya salad, the rice noodle dish (forgot the name), and the chicken pho – everything was truly delicious. However, the portions are very large, and you can't take leftovers home, so I recommend ordering a little at a time.
