About a 7-minute walk from Kasumi Station along the road, you’ll catch sight of the torii gate of Yada Daisen Shrine. It truly feels like a shrine for the locals; as you climb the stone steps, you’ll find a shrine that’s maintained only to the bare minimum, sharing its space with the surrounding plants and trees. I can’t get enough of this solemn atmosphere that never tries to draw attention to itself.
