Setagaya Ward's Senkawa Riverside Walking Path

The Sengawa River, a Class 1 waterway flowing from Koganei City to the vicinity of Futakotamagawa Station. While not a large river, its riverside paths are just right for walking or cycling, and on holidays, it's not uncommon to see people jogging or strolling. Along the way, lush natural areas abound, so much so that you might forget you're still within the city limits. There are also many cherry trees, making the cherry blossom-lined paths a highlight in spring. The paths, not overly paved, are pleasantly comfortable and perfect for moderate exercise.
