Located in the Yokohama Yamate Western-Style Houses area, this is the largest surviving pre-war foreign residence in Yamate. It is said to have been designed by J.H. Morgan, the same architect who designed the Yamate 111 Building in Minato-no-Mieru-Oka Park and the First-Class Viewing Stand at the former Negishi Racecourse. From the exterior to the interior, it exudes a sense of exquisite architectural beauty crafted with meticulous attention to detail. While it isn’t flashy—perhaps due in part to the passage of time—it evokes a profound sense of charm.
