Tochiyado Park in Hachioji Minamino, where you can get a taste of Laputa
This park is located about a 20-minute walk from Hachioji-Minamino Station. It covers a vast area with significant elevation changes, and you can even see Mount Fuji from the observation deck. As I descended the stairs and entered the park, I got a sense of ancient ruins—or perhaps a vibe reminiscent of *Castle in the Sky* (it wouldn’t have been surprising to see robot soldiers walking around). You can descend the stairs from the observation deck, walk around the park (which features terraced fields and a pond), and then head back up via the slope on the opposite side, so I thought it would make a great jogging or walking route.
