This is the road I took on my way to a scenic spot known as Manjōjiki, a vast rock shelf reputed to offer “views as beautiful as those of the Uyuni Salt Flats.” It was near a beach called Hamochi Sobama Coast, and the scenery—both dynamic and serene—was truly refreshing. As for Manjōjiki itself, since it was low tide, it didn’t resemble the Uyuni Salt Flats at all; trash was visible, and it looked rather dismal… I’m including this photo for reference. If you plan to visit, I think you’ll be disappointed unless you go around high tide (especially at sunset).
