"Udon Baka Ichidai," renowned as the birthplace of Kama Butter Udon, is immensely popular. It's about a 30-minute walk from JR Takamatsu Station. Even arriving before 9 AM on a weekday, the shop was packed, and it took over 20 minutes from entering until I could slurp my udon. Of course, I ordered the Kama Butter, which is essentially carbonara udon. The generous pepper really emphasized that flavor. The noodles themselves are truly delicious. However, if you approach it expecting a simple broth-based udon or bukkake udon, you might be taken aback. Foreign tourists, children, and teens in particular were all eating it, saying "delicious, delicious," and with their strong marketing efforts, the line never stopped.
