The Nogawa River, part of the Tama River system flowing from the Kokubunji area to the Futako-Tamagawa area, offers a refreshingly different image from typical Tokyo rivers, thanks to its simplicity and harmony with nature. Along the Nogawa's roughly 20km length, several spots feel particularly pleasant, and the Nogawa Greenway near Chofu is one of them. Sunny days are especially wonderful here, so I highly recommend strolling on a clear day. Simply walking or cycling along it feels truly refreshing. Personally, I recommend autumn or early winter to early spring when there are fewer insects.
