Shin-Okubo Bukgyeong Jajang's Classic Jajangmyeon

Lately, I've been craving jajangmyeon and tteokbokki quite often, and when that happens, I just grab a quick bite at a random place in Shin-Okubo. This time, I visited Bukgyeong Jajang Shin-Okubo Main Store for the first time. It's a bit over 10 minutes off the main street, and since it was just before noon on a Friday, I slipped right in. But as soon as noon hit, it started getting crowded fast. The Tangsuyuk wasn't the crispy type but rather juicy, so it wasn't a personal hit for me. The jajangmyeon, however, was absolutely delicious. The sweetness, richness, and how it clung to the noodles were perfect. While the portion was substantial, it wasn't overwhelmingly large, and it was the kind of dish that left me thoroughly satisfied.
