Near JR Kokuryo Station, Nogawa Bridge offers respite from the heat

While cycling along the Nogawa River near Kokuryo Station (technically in Chofu), I snapped a photo thinking the scenery was absolutely stunning. It turned out to be the area around Nogawa Bridge and Nogawa Bridge Green Space. I saw a father and son trying to catch fish or crayfish, and since the water was shallow and the current gentle, it seemed perfect for kids to play in the river. It was a hot day, nearly 33 degrees Celsius, and the blue sky, sparkling water surface, large trees, and lush greenery all blended together perfectly. Just looking at it made me feel incredibly refreshed.
