While riding my electric-assist bicycle along Hokkaido Route 46 (the Ebetsu-Eniwa Line), I spotted a torii gate and decided to stop by. It’s a small shrine, but the long, narrow approach path is quite interesting. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, and I imagined it would take on a whole different charm once the snow falls. However, if there’s snow on the ground, I don’t think there’s any way to get to this shrine other than by car.
