After renting an electric bicycle (¥1,000/day) at Quintessa Hotel Ogaki, I encountered this Minamihara Shokudo just before reaching my intended cafe. While waiting at a traffic light, I spotted people by the window on the second floor and thought it might be a restaurant. When I went in, it was surprisingly crowded (the photo was taken after I finished eating)! There was one group ahead of me, and in the nearly one hour until lunchtime ended, about seven more groups came in. No wonder—the lunch set easily surpasses the 1,000 yen value. The friendly owner apologized for the wait amidst the chaos: "Sorry for keeping you waiting, got water? Weekdays are always like this." Today's lunch—chicken thigh steak with Gujo miso sauce—was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended ⭐️5.
