Located about a 2-minute walk from JR Kichijoji Station's South Exit, "Boulangerie Bistro EPEE (EPEE)" is a charming wooden bakery with a warm atmosphere. Honestly, when I bought bread to eat at home, I didn't think it was mind-blowingly delicious. However, my opinion completely changed when I later visited the shop and enjoyed sweet bread, a café latte, and tea soda. Perhaps enhanced by the pleasant in-store ambiance, the muffin-like bread's fluffy texture and subtly sweet flavor were outstanding, and the drinks were exquisite (I'm often disappointed by tea sodas with zero sweetness, but this shop's tea soda was the best I've ever tasted). I highly recommend visiting the shop to fully experience its charm.
