Having mostly finished sightseeing around Nagasaki Station, I decided to head a bit north on my electric bike. With no prior information, I aimed for Nishiyama Dam and happened upon Shuku, a long-established shop. Drawn in by its charmingly aged exterior, I entered to find the interior equally neat and brimming with retro charm! Since I was in Nagasaki, I ordered the authentic Turkish rice. Yes, yes—this is exactly what Turkish rice should look like! It met my expectations perfectly: the appearance, the rich, hearty flavor, the texture—delicious!! The coffee served in a cute cup was also strong and full-bodied. While Nishiyama Dam, my original destination, didn't have anything particularly noteworthy (I'll include a photo anyway lol), stumbling upon this shop, Shuku, was absolutely the best part.
