A bike path where you can enjoy scenery unique to a rice-growing region

A cycling path connecting Yonezawa City and Nanyo City in Yamagata Prefecture. Surrounded by nature, the section through Yonezawa City offers particularly dazzling views of expansive rice paddies. Since the path generally follows the Mogami River, you can easily stop and walk down to the riverbank for a change of pace. While it's a bike path, it's also enjoyable for walking or jogging (I actually jogged it myself).
