When exploring the Hakodate Mountain area, you can enjoy views of Hakodate cityscape from various spots, starting with the observatory at the mountain's summit. This time, I skipped the Hakodate Mountain Observatory and focused on exploring lesser-known spots instead. The views from places not typically recognized as observation points—like Hakodate Gokoku Shrine, the graves of the Ishikawa Takuboku family, and the road along Sumiyoshi Fishing Port—were also exceptionally good. I truly understood that Hakodate's cityscape, globally acclaimed as one of the most beautiful, remains stunning no matter the angle from which you capture it.
