Twelve Shrines Watching Over Yorimachi from the Hilltop

Twelve Shrines watches over the beautiful coastal town of Yoroi from its hilltop vantage point. When I rode my electric bicycle from Kasumi Station to Yoroi Station and wanted to gaze out at the sea from a high spot, I happened upon this shrine. My, what a beautiful shrine this is. The balance of sunlight filtering through the trees, torii gates, and shrine buildings is simply splendid. The weathered hues of the wooden structures, aged by the sea breeze, seem to praise the accumulated time. The beauty of the sea overlooking Yoroi Town after paying my respects here was truly exceptional.
