After exploring the area near Takaoka Station, I had some extra time and decided to stop by Takaoka Kojo Park. I was pleasantly surprised—it turned out to be one of those spots you really shouldn't miss. I probably entered through the back gate entrance. My initial impression was just, "Oh, so it's a park with moats because it's the site of Takaoka Castle," but as I walked deeper, it kept exceeding my expectations: "Isn't this surprisingly spacious?" "Is this a really enjoyable forest path?" "Aren't there a lot of beautiful views?" And it also includes the very beautiful and historic Imizu Shrine, making it a place absolutely packed with charm.
