About a 10-minute walk west from Nishi-Maizuru Station brings you to the Takano River. On the opposite bank of this river, a total of 9 to 10 temples and shrines line up in a row. It certainly has that Kyoto feel, but it was interesting to see such a scene in this coastal town in the northern part of the prefecture, a little way from the capital city of Kyoto.
