Scenery of the Arakawa River near Shikahama Bridge

I visited the riverbank of the Arakawa River, located at the border of Kita Ward and Adachi Ward in northern Tokyo and Kawaguchi City in Saitama Prefecture. It was a remarkably clear day, and around 4 PM, the sunlight painted the blue sky and clouds in beautiful hues. For some reason, natural and man-made elements seem to blend exceptionally well against a beautiful sky. Gazing at such scenery evokes a sense of melancholy, nostalgia, or poignancy, yet simultaneously brings a feeling of hope. Discovering such a special view in an unassuming place, not a famous spot, fills me with unexpected joy.
