One of the three Hikawa shrines, Unane Hikawa Shrine

This Unane Hikawa Shrine, along with the nearby Kitami Hikawa Shrine and Okura Hikawa Shrine, is collectively known as the Three Hikawa Shrines. Among the Three Hikawa Shrines, it is the simplest, with noticeable open space. Bon Odori dances are held in summer, and the annual festival takes place in autumn. Both events are reasonably lively, but they are simple festivals without food stalls. However, during the autumn foliage season, the clear sky provides a beautiful backdrop, making it a hidden spot for taking quite photogenic pictures.
