Nagaike Park in Hachioji, Where the Arch Bridge Makes for a Picturesque Scene

Nagaike Park in Hachioji opened in 2000. While its trademark feature is the arched Nagaike Mitsuke Bridge, the park also features a total of three ponds, as well as satoyama woodlands and a natural atmosphere, making it a comprehensive nature park. In particular, rare species such as alder, the striped firefly, the Sarasa dragonfly, and the Mamezakura cherry have reportedly been confirmed in the Special Conservation Zone.
