Must-See Museums and Their Companions for Sightseeing in Atami

Atami, a retro town nestled in the hills. While it's a famous tourist destination, I must say, many areas have become rather run-down. Amidst this, the MOA Museum of Art is a must-visit. I went first thing in the morning and it felt absolutely wonderful. And the space connecting the tea house Isshaku-an and the soba restaurant Bō, located behind the museum, is truly splendid. However, if you plan to walk from Atami Station to the MOA Museum of Art, be prepared for a significant uphill climb and considerable fatigue.
