JR Shin-Okubo Station is packed with popular Korean restaurants, but I wanted authentic Korean home cooking, so I headed to "Minsok Village." Since it was before 11:30, I expected to get in easily without a reservation. However, there were already about four groups waiting, and it took about 30 minutes to get seated. It seems safer to either make a reservation or arrive after 11:00. Since Korean food portions are usually large, I started conservatively with just cheese tteokbokki (quite spicy) and bossam. However, with four types of appetizers (super delicious) included, just these two dishes pushed my fullness level past 120%, making it impossible to order anything else... But both were incredibly tasty!
