I recently cycled along the Hoya-Sayama Natural Park Bicycle Path, commonly known as the Tama Lake Bicycle and Pedestrian Path, which connects Nishi-Tokyo City (around Higashi-Koganei) to Tama Lake. I've ridden this path three or four times before, but it's truly pleasant and absolutely wonderful. The scenery changes with the seasons, and each area offers a completely different impression, so it never gets boring. This time, I enjoyed the Tama Lake Bicycle and Pedestrian Path in autumn. The trees were starting to change color, the air was crisp, and the temperature was just right for cycling. I think early November is one of the best seasons to ride the Tama Lake Bicycle and Pedestrian Path.
