Shibuya Ward Fureai Plant Center is located in a quiet spot away from the crowds, a 12-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station's East Exit. It reopened in July 2023 after renovations; previously, it had the typical look of a ward facility (which was fine in its own way). The new center is quite clean and stylish, with an atmosphere where you can see the plants steadily growing over time. There is a cafe on the 2nd floor, but at the time of writing, the only food option is pizza made with plants, so those wanting a substantial meal should be aware. Being a ward facility, admission is just 100 yen, and the atmosphere is completely unhurried, making it a very relaxing place to spend time.
