I visited the Itabashi City Museum of Art for the first time to see the "Leo Lionni and Friends" exhibition. It's a bit inconvenient to reach—about a 15-minute walk from Nishi-Takashimadaira Station on the Toei Mita Line, or a 10-minute bus ride from Narimasu Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. However, the museum underwent renovations in 2019 and is very clean and surprisingly spacious. It seems Leo Lionni exhibitions have been held here frequently for some time, and the atmosphere felt like a regular haunt for his fans. It might be well-known locally, but across the street from the museum, large goats were being kept, putting smiles on the faces of many passersby. Though crowded, it was a calm and lovely museum.
