Though you might think it's a fairly obscure prefectural park, it also houses the former residence of Yoshida Shigeru, a former Prime Minister of Japan, and boasts a distinguished history (it's surprising how many places have deep historical connections). It's also a very beautiful spot for autumn foliage, so if you're visiting the area when autumn is in full swing, I highly recommend stopping by.
