At the northernmost tip of Chigasaki City lies the area of Serizawa. Unlike the coastal Shonan area, it offers lush green scenery, with temperatures dropping below freezing in winter and significant snowfall. In this Serizawa area stands "Gallery Kinomi," which has gallery reservations booked solid until the following year. On the day I visited, it featured an exhibition by multiple artists, though its appearance seems to change completely from time to time. The cafe menu usually offers only drinks and cake, but Korean cuisine is available exclusively on Mondays. That day featured sundubu (soft tofu stew) and a set meal with local rice—mildly spicy and incredibly delicious. The terrace features a dog named Konomi (pets are welcome on the terrace), and nearby is Koshikake Shrine, originating from the legend of Prince Yamato Takeru. It's packed with highlights!
