The newly rebuilt Kuramae Elementary School building, completed in 2019. Kuramae, a popular area for strolling, is lined with stylish boutiques and cafes. But even the elementary school is stylish—in fact, it seems to be becoming the face of this area. The playground is located on the rooftop, and the interior is quite beautiful, packed with the latest facilities (apparently even including a climbing wall). However, this is a fully operational elementary school where children attend classes. Please refrain from entering the building without permission and limit your visit to quietly observing it from the sidewalk.
