Suimotō Park, the largest waterfront park in the 23 wards, located in Katsushika Ward. Since it's such a large park, I'd like to introduce it by dividing it into three areas. In the southern area, the ginkgo trees display beautiful autumn colors, bearing many closed, round pinecone-like fruits. The large pond, Kohari Pond, attracts many migratory birds like spot-billed ducks and common goldeneyes. They freely go about their activities on the water and shore, looking utterly adorable. Mizumoto Park also seems to be a mecca for pond fishing, with many anglers fishing for crucian carp and tanago.
