Business Hotel Rekijōsō, located just over a 15-minute walk from Ibaraki Station on the Ibaraki Line. It's a classic, long-established inn. The facilities and building are old, so honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for couples or married couples. However, it's perfect for solo travelers or trips with male friends. It's thoroughly cleaned and not unpleasant, and the large bath was very relaxing. The front desk staff were very polite and even lent us bicycles for free (they were rusty, but incredibly helpful! These made for the best possible strolls). Please be aware that the hallways and coin laundry area have no air conditioning and get extremely hot.
