Zama Yatoyama Park, located in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a fairly large park where visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including exploring the local countryside, birdwatching, insect collecting, crayfish fishing, and firefly viewing. It takes quite a while to walk the entire loop through the park’s undulating terrain, and it’s moderately tiring—so while it’s not quite a mountain hike, it’s just right for a nature walk. Please note that only walking is permitted within the park; bicycles and motorcycles are strictly prohibited.
