I had no idea a place like this existed, but “Nanmachi Sunflower Field” has opened its sunflower fields to the public for personal photography. I stumbled upon this spot by chance, but it seems the sunflowers are in full bloom for only about 10 days. It felt like it had been ages since I’d seen so many sunflowers, and combined with the twilight sky, I was able to fully enjoy that “magic hour” of midsummer. Summer is getting hotter every year, and it’s starting to become a season I dislike (haha), but once I experienced such a wonderful view—one that can only be seen in summer—I conveniently found myself thinking, “Actually, summer isn’t so bad after all.”
