When I arrived at JR Fukuroi Station in Shizuoka Prefecture, most of the restaurants around the station were closed, making me think I might not get lunch. But then, just over a 10-minute walk from the station, I found an oasis-like food facility. Toretate Shokuraku-bu seems to be based on the concept of enjoying local seasonal produce while it's fresh, featuring restaurants, cafes, a direct-sales supermarket, gardening, and more. I ordered a plate set meal at the restaurant "Honey! Honey!!" where you can freely choose side dishes too—delicious! (You can also make the salad and side dishes all-you-can-eat). After eating, I worked at the adjacent cafe "2961Coffee" until I was done. It's a relaxing spot where you can linger for a long time.
