Nogawa Greenway Flowing Through the City

This is the greenway along the Nogawa River, flowing roughly midway between Seijogakuen Station and Kitami Station on the Odakyu Line. Being able to enjoy this scenery right in the heart of the city is quite romantic. Not only the greenway, but the riverbanks are also well-maintained, and the water quality is quite clean. You can spot many birds and fish, and the water depth and current speed are safe for children to play in. Running or cycling along the greenway, or taking a leisurely stroll, makes this a truly pleasant place. For humans, polluting nature is all too easy and happens in an instant. While imagining just a little of the immense effort and difficulty required to maintain it, I strongly hope that this scenery can continue to be shared not just by humans, but by many living creatures together.
