In Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, you can experience the insane activity of jumping and falling onto a frozen lake in the dead of winter. The waterproof suit keeps you from getting soaked, so while you feel a chill upon impact, it's not unbearably cold. This is a must-try activity for those from areas that don't usually get snow! ※Normally held on Lake Ogawara, but on this day it wasn't frozen. Instead, we used the nearby frozen Odanai Marsh. Though called a marsh, it's fed by spring water and is beautifully clear.
