While Tokyo has many dog cafes, I've finally found the best one in the city. It's Dog Cafe Florence in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. It's a 20-minute walk from Taniguchi Station on the Tobu Skytree Line (almost Saitama, almost Tokyo), or about 25 minutes by bus from Ayase Station on the Chiyoda Line, so access isn't great, but the dogs are the best! Reservations are split between large and small dogs, but the rare large dog booths are truly the best. They don't offer treats for the dogs here. But that's definitely better for the pups' health, and you don't need treats to lure them anyway – the connection between the pups and the staff lets you interact with them constantly. The pups are full of personality, vibrant and healthy, and absolutely adorable!
