Lucky if you find it! Shindaita Marcus's Street Kitchen Car

A food truck I'd never seen before was parked about a 2-minute walk from Shindaita Station on the Inokashira Line. It seemed to specialize in gumbo rice and Cuban sandwiches, but the truck itself looked awesome! I tried the 800-yen Cuban sandwich – the crispy texture combined with the rich cheddar cheese made it delicious (they cut it in half for me, but a bit more volume would have been even better)! However, the food truck operates on an irregular schedule, and currently, it seems to be open most often on Mondays. Checking their Instagram, "Marcus' Town," beforehand is the most reliable way to confirm. Next time, I'd like to try the gumbo rice.
