Ichikawa's Maman-yama Koboji Temple, Beautiful for Cherry Blossoms and Autumn Foliage
About a 15-minute walk from JR Ichikawa Station and a 10-minute walk from Keisei Line Kokudai Station lies Mamasan Koboji Temple. It is home to the 400-year-old Fushihime Cherry Tree, a weeping cherry variety, and the approach is lined with about 100 cherry trees. As a result, many visitors come to see the blossoms in spring. The autumn foliage is also beautiful, and the view of the town from the temple gate was lovely.
