Funakoshi Lookout Point with a View of Sasebo's Kujukushima Islands

The Funakoshi Observation Deck, recommended by the owner of Bronxburg, the best Sasebo burger joint, is a spot barely featured on tourist maps. Despite being quite accessible, the sea of Kujukushima spreads out right before your eyes. Set up in a rather unassuming, low-key manner, I can see how most tourists might miss it entirely, or even if they spot it on a map, decide it's not worth the trip and skip it. Especially during twilight, the scenery becomes quite picturesque. Wow, what a valuable tip!
