A relatively lesser-known Kyoto temple? Seiryo-in, where water still drips
Kyoto is said to have around 2,500 shrines and temples (including about 1,700 Buddhist temples), and while it's impossible to see them all, the ones that get spotlighted seem pretty fixed. This Shﾅ荒ei-in Temple is occasionally featured in the media, but it still feels like it belongs to the more obscure temples. However, it's a very charming temple where you can admire captivating scenes throughout its grounds. For just 500 yen admission, you'll be thoroughly refreshed.
