Sado Island’s Delicious Conveyor-Belt Sushi: Sado Benkei Sado Main Store

Based on my own personal research, I found two places on Sado Island that serve delicious sushi at reasonable prices. One of them is this conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, Sado Benkei Sado Main Store (Sado Benkei). It serves top-quality sushi made with fresh local Sado fish and Sado Koshihikari rice. I was so engrossed in eating that I almost forgot to take any photos, but everything I tried was delicious. The umami and sweetness of the Sado salmon were especially outstanding. Actually, I was just eating one piece after another nonstop, so I don’t really remember what I had… but it was undeniably delicious, so please be sure to stop by if you visit Sado Island. However, it was already quite crowded around 5:00 PM on a weekday, so it’s best to arrive early (the restaurant does not accept reservations).
