I had lunch at Pizzeria e Trattoria da Bocciano, an Italian restaurant on the 5th floor of KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station. I was just looking for a place that seemed open without any particular destination in mind and happened to walk in. So, I wasn't expecting much. We ordered two "Bocciano Lunch" sets: one with the pasta of the day, and the other a pizza generously loaded with meat. The pasta featured perfectly al dente noodles with a generous helping of mentaiko (spicy cod roe), while the pizza had a thin crust (just how I like it) with an excellent texture and toppings that paired perfectly. Honestly, I was surprised by how delicious it was. The Google reviews are unusually low, making me wonder if it's being targeted by negative campaigns? The food is that good (service is average, so no issues there).
