Nihonbashi is a town where you're drawn by its mysterious charm, only to find there's often nothing particularly noteworthy to see (this is purely my personal impression). This time, I visited with a specific purpose: soba noodles are my current obsession, so I chose "Soba Kappo Inada Coredo Muromachi Branch" for lunch. It was lunchtime, so I waited 20-30 minutes to get in. I ordered the "Tempura Bento and Soba" and the "Tempura Seiro". This shop serves niban soba (wheat flour:buckwheat flour = 2:8), and the smooth texture was pleasant with a satisfying bite. The soba in the "Tempura Donburi and Soba" was a bit on the light side, so I could have easily had another serving. And the tempura was really delicious! Priced in the thousand-yen range, it's good value considering the location.
