The Solid and Sturdy Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura

Thinking I should treat myself to a night at a nice hotel for a change, I stayed at Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura, which opened in 2020. Its impression is further emphasized by the MUJI Cafﾃｩ & Meal located on the first floor. As the title suggests, it perfectly embodies the phrase "substantial and robust," prioritizing substance over flashy appearance. The room itself isn't overly spacious, but the amenities were the most comprehensive I've ever encountered, and the cleaning was meticulous窶覇verywhere was simply spotless. Facing Wakamiya-ﾅ綱i, the approach road to Tsurugaoka Hachimangﾅｫ Shrine, it gets fairly noisy outside the window at night. The MUJI breakfast, quite different in character from a traditional ryokan breakfast, was substantial and left me feeling full.
