Sengen Shrine with Views of Mount Fuji and the Tama River

Tama River Sengen Shrine is a historic shrine near Tama River Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, particularly popular for prayers for safe childbirth. Shrines bearing the name "Sengen" are said to originate from the worship of Mount Fuji. On clear days with crisp air, you can apparently see both Mount Fuji and the Tama River from the observation deck (unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of my visit). Though compact, it's a pleasant place, so I recommend paying a visit if you're in the area.
