Enjoy the country roads in the Shiroyama area of Sagamihara

I visited the area at the foot of Mt. Shiroyama in Sagamihara City. There are hiking trails around a small lake called Lake Shiroyama, and if you head a little north, you’ll find Mt. Takao, while heading a little south takes you to Lake Tsukui. As soon as I ventured a short distance from the city center, the lush greenery took over and the scenery transformed into a mountainous landscape—it was truly exciting. I also came across country roads and nostalgic scenery, which was wonderfully relaxing.
